Local Charities Lots of local charities benefit from our support. Staff continually raise money or provide practical help for a range of good causes. In 2003 Sir Bobby Robson kindly presented cheques to charities on our behalf.
Family Fun Day Originally held to introduce our families to our new Head Office facilities, the Family Fun Day has become an annual highlight. We raise money for charity whilst enjoying a day of fun and frivolity!
Durham Community Business College We are proud to have provided both practical and financial support to the School's staff and pupils as it has worked towards becoming the only Special Status School for Technology & Enterprise in the area.
Business in the Community The Big Tick Awards go to businesses which provide real support to the wider community. We are delighted to have received two awards in 2005 for our work with young people.
Charitable Trust Launched in 2005 the Trust will award £1 million over the next five years to projects which support communities, skills development, young people, the disadvantaged and environmental work across the Region.
Staff Activities Staff are always finding new and exciting ways to support the community. Mark Derbyshire & James Hayton recently raised over £1,600 on the Coast 2 Coast bike ride for Cancer Research. They also raised an additional £300 to go towards a new computer for Durham Trinity School.
